Kennedy Memorial Lecture
Robert Dallek Renowned Presidential Historian speaking in Belfast and Dublin May and June 2011

In 1961 John F Kennedy stepped into the American Presidency. He stepped into leadership and asked his country to do the same. On the 50th Anniversary of the inauguration of President Kennedy, the Kennedy Memorial Lecture Series, looks back on the life of the youngest man elected President of the United States of America. We do so with the help of renowned Presidential Historian Robert Dallek. Kennedy's words have inspired people around the world, with his inaugural address offering the memorable line: "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."
